Power Leveling In Cafe World

When you start gaining a few levels in Cafe World, you’ll probably start to see that it’s a lot easier to accumulate coins than levels in the game. Pretty soon, most players have piles of coins that they can’t really spend. It would be awesome if there was a way to convert those coins into Cafe Points (CP) so that you could level up faster, wouldn’t it? Well, guess what? There is! It’s a technique called power leveling and it’s pretty simple, although time-intensive, to do.

What you do is repeatedly prepare and then delete a dish on one of your stoves. Because each dish gives a certain amount of Cafe Points during preparation ( 3 “rounds” of a small amount), you’ll get CP without waiting for the dish to fully cook. All you do is prepare the dish, and then immediately delete it and start over. If you do it enough times, you’ll eventually get enough CP to level, having essentially converted your coins into Cafe Point.

Note that you only need to do this on one stove. There’s really no benefit to using multiple stoves to do this trick as it doesn’t save time. In fact, you’ll want to keep those other stoves busy with preparing dishes and earning more coins for you to keep on power leveling.

Certain dishes are much better suited to this technique than most others. What you want to look for is a high ratio of “preparation” Cafe Points to cost of the dish. Another factor, of course, is time. It takes about 20 seconds to prepare and delete a dish, and unless you want to be clicking all day, you want to pick a dish that doesn’t require very many preparations to get you the Cafe Points you need to level.

So which dishes are best? Well, there are a few choices at each level. Here’s some of my favorites for each level “group” starting with level 20, which is approximately the point at which you’re earning enough coins to spend them freely.

Levels 21-30: The average number of CP you need to level in this range is about 3,000. Your best recipe to use here is the Homestyle Pot Roast which brings in 60 CP per preparation. At this level range, you’ll need to do about 50 preps per level. On average, it will cost you 90,000 coins to get each level and take about 16 minutes to do it (each preparation cycle is about 20 seconds long). If you want a cheaper alternative, try using Voodoo Chicken Salad. It will only cost about 58,000 coins but takes about 28 minutes to level.

Levels 31-40: Here it takes an average of 5,500 CP for each level. The best recipe to use here is King Crab Bisque which will cost about 132,000 coins per level and takes 34 minutes on average to complete. Voodoo Chicken Salad remains the best cheap option. It will only cost about 107,000 coins per level, but you’ll need 51 minutes for each level.

Levels 41-50: The average CP to level in this range is 9,300. King Crab Bisque remains the most balanced option for power-leveling here, but it starts to lose some of its effectiveness. It will cost you an average of 260,000 coins per level and take about an hour. For a lot of players at this level, money is less of an issue. A more expensive option here is to go with Chicken Pot Pie. It will cut the time down to about 47 minutes but the cost is just under 500,000 coins. Spent too many coins on those cafe decorations? Good old Voodoo Chicken Salad remains a great option with less cost. You’ll need a solid 86 minutes on average, but it will only cost you about 180,000 coins per level.

Delicious...and a power leveler's best friend.

Level 51-60: Here’s where your options start to open up a bit. The best power leveling recipe in the game is Delicious Chocolate Cake which becomes available at level 52. In this range, you need about 13,000 CP per level, and the cake will get you there in one hour with a cost of 235,000 coins per level. From level 50-52, go with Grand Tandoori Chicken, which costs quite a bit more but is nearly as fast. If you’re still watching coins carefully, King Crab Bisque works well until you hit level 52.

Level 61+

From here, it’s all about the Delicious Chocolate Cake. At the higher levels, it takes a whopping 30,000 Cafe Points to move to each new one. So, things do slow down a bit and cost more. Each new level will take roughly two hours and twenty minutes to power through and it will cost about 540,000 coins to get there. However, at this point in the game, you’re probably sitting on a huge pile of coins!

When a neighbor visits your Cafe and chooses to leave a tip, a small amount of coins are added to your total at the time if their visit. When you return to your Cafe the notification states that you made 0 in tips even though those tips have already been added to your total. We are working hard to identify and fix this issue so that tips can be reported correctly again.

Can you return the favor and send me a gift back?”. Now we choose Tostada de Carne Asada, check the pop up “Here are servings of Tostada de Carne Asada! One of biggest desires of every Café World player out there is to be able to level up as fast as possible. They get tired of being stuck at Level 10, watching their neighbors skyrocket upwards, and no wonder – there are so many more cool things you can do when you get up into the 20s and 30s. So, here are some tips to help you get the most possible XP to reach the highest levels in the game in no time.

Start by Knowing What to Cook

If you cook the wrong dishes, you’re never going to level up. Each dish has a different cooking time, serving volume, and number of Café Points awarded for each customer you serve it to. As a result, the dishes you choose to cook will have a big impact on how fast you can reach the upper levels.

For the most part, the best dishes to cook when trying to level up are the ones that cook the fastest. You can serve far more customers that way and, if you are online frequently, you can rotate new dishes in every 5 minutes or so.

Two good examples of this are Bacon Cheeseburgers and Chips and Guacamole. Both dishes take only 5 minutes to cook and they give 7 and 5 café points for finishing them up. If you can stay logged on and cook these dishes over and over again, you will get far more points than you would by cooking a 24 hour dish that only awards slightly more café points.

The Right Layout and Schedule

Now that you know what to cook, you should know how to setup your café and develop a schedule for cooking those dishes. This is important in more ways than just leveling. It will directly affect your Buzz Rating as well as how many coins you can make per hour – two stats you want to keep a close eye on as you get higher in levels. Eventually, those two stats will be all that matters to you.

For now, you should try to setup your café so that servers don’t need to travel far between customers and serving tables. This will speed up service and if you are rotating a new dish out every 5 minutes, it will boost your buzz rating and get you more customers, which means more café points and higher levels.

Scheduling is equally important in that you may not be able to log on to the game for hours at a time to cook burgers every 5 minutes. That’s why Zynga includes a variety of dishes that can be cooked over the course of many different intervals – from 2 hours to 48 hours. Choose dishes with high Café point rewards over a time frame that works for you.

In the end, you want to be as well versed in the dynamics and strategies of Café World as possible. This means balancing the different aspects of leveling up in regards to your café point gain alongside your coin increase and your buzz rating. Pull that off and you’ll be well on your way to the upper ratings.

Whenever you put a dish together in Café World, your goal should be to make the customers who are about to eat it happy. This is how you can maintain a higher rating for your café, get more customers, get more XP, and ultimately get more coins.

That’s a lot of moving parts, so you’d better have a good idea of how to keep them all moving in line with one another as you develop your restaurant from the ground up.

Everything you do in your café should be centered on customer happiness. To make that process as easy as possible, here are a few things to keep in mind for your restaurant as you move forward.

Service First, Decoration Second

The goal of your restaurant is to make dishes and serve them to your customers. If you don’t bother to do this, you’re wasting a whole lot of time. That said, the urge to spend some coins and time redecorating is often too great to pass up. Only make changes to your restaurant if they are going to increase or maintain the number of customers you have coming in. That new table layout may look really cool, but if drops your rating score by 5 points, it’s not a good addition to the café.

Topping Out the Buzz Rating

The Buzz Rating, or the number of thumbs up you get, as displayed in the top right corner of the screen is a hugely important number for any restaurant. If that number drops, your customers are not happy. If that number goes up, you’re doing something right. You’ll find that the number tops out at certain points as you level up – don’t let that bother you too much. Just make sure the rating never goes down without a good reason. You want it to keep climbing as you progress – all the better to increase both coins and XP gain as you get higher up.

Getting the Food to the Customers

You want to be sure that you can get your dishes finished and served to your customers as quickly as possible. As a result, you need to be sure that you logon to the game as soon as the dishes you prepared are ready. If you have it set for a 12 hour timer, try to be online within 13 hours so that you can rotate out your dishes and get those hot new foods into the bellies of your customers. Additionally, work on speeding up the serving process.

Put serving tables directly next to tables in small clusters and provide enough servers to get between tables and customers as fast as possible. The more efficient the serving process, the happier your customers will be with that high speed service you’re offering.

The goal of Café World is to make customers happy. If you succeed at doing that, you’re going to go a long way toward creating a highly efficient, highly successful restaurant that anyone will enjoy visiting. Most of all though, remember to have fun.

The goal of Café World is to put together the perfect menu to entertain and feed your guests so that they keep coming back, give you high ratings and you can load up on the eponymous café coins. There are a lot of thoughts on what constitutes a “perfect” menu for this game, so you should spend a bit of time researching and analyzing how to integrate your current dish options with the demands of your customers.

And while you may want to keep cooking the things that you personally would want to eat in real life, it is important to step back time and again to look at what dishes actually sell well and will make you a profit.

Your Schedule

The first thing to consider when choosing dishes for your café is what dishes are going to work with your schedule. There are dozens of dishes to choose from and they each have a different cooking time. The shortest cooking times are only 5 minutes while the longest cooking times are as much as 24 or 48 hours. You can basically setup the dish and let it cook for a day or two while you are at work, watching movie or eating dinner.

This is a great option for those that don’t log onto Café World very option. But for those that are on two or three times a day, you’ll need to more carefully analyze which short term dishes work in tandem with your schedule.

Here’s the problem – if you don’t serve the food that’s sitting on the stove, it will spoil – and quickly. You need to get back to the stove after completion time fairly soon or you will lose your investment and a whole lot of time that could have been spent earning. You’ll also have to pay money to clean up the mess from the spoilage, which is a cost you shouldn’t have to endure.

The Serving Amount

Each dish also has a different volume of servings it produces. Because each dish is served from a serving table for a set number of customers, you need to consider how many times you can make coins from that dish before it is gone. If you have too many dishes as well, you will quickly find that the space on your serving tables gets used up quickly when you have a new dish and nowhere to put it.

In the end, you want to decide what the total cost per serving for your dishes is. How much does it cost for every serving of that dish to prepare, cook, and serve it. And then, inversely, how much profit do you make from each serving, and how does that break down on an hourly basis.

If you make 12 coins per serving of a dish and there are 10 servings of the dish ready every 2 hours, then your per hour coin rate for that dish is 60 coins. Now, most dishes are not nearly that high, but you get the idea.

Ultimately, your café’s menu should be based on what you can make with each dish you cook and how well they integrate into your own schedule. Master those details and you will be set for some time to come.

To determine the coin per hour rate, divide the number of coins you will make by the hours it takes you to cook and serve that dish. For example, if you will make 100 coins with a dish that takes 4 hours to cook, the coin per hour rate is 25 coins.

In addition to finding dishes with high coin per hour rates that match your schedule, you can visit your fellow players and help them out around their cafes. This might seem like a little extra work, but you can make 20 coins per visit you make to each friend on your neighbors list each day. There is a cap of 20 visits per day, but that’s still 400 coins a day just for doing a little traveling.

What you do with your coins is entirely up to you, but you may as well have a lot of them to make that decision with. Cook the right dishes, do some visiting and have fun decorating your café as much as possible.

You can also give gifts that are not on the gift menu, buying items from the store and giving those as gifts. This is largely unnecessary though as your fellow players can get those items on their own with Café Coins and will most often prefer to receive the gift menu items instead.

How to Get Your Own Gifts

So, how do you go about turning this amazing system on its head and getting your own pile of new gifts to add to your café? It starts by giving out your own gifts. People are prompted whenever they receive a gift to reciprocate the giving with their own gift. So, if you send someone a new coffee drink, they will be asked to send something back to you. The game doesn’t require you to ask – it does the hard work for you.

Most players will gladly reciprocate because they want to keep getting gifts from that friend (just the same as you). The key then is to send out gifts to everyone on your friends list every day so that you can get gifts back from each of them. Those friends that are neighbors in the game and logon each day will then be able to send things back your way. That is what you should aim for when you send out gifts – receiving similar gifts in turn to deck out your café.

So, ultimately, if you are interested in becoming one of the top players on the Internet to give and receive gifts, you need to go out and start loading up on new neighbors that you can get the gifts from and give them to. This is a major part of the game play of Café World and something that every player should spend careful time mastering.

Is 13×15 Expansion Worthy?

Many of cafe world players may ask a question: Is 13×15 Expansion Worthy? 8×9 cafe cost 500 coins, 9×11 cafe cost 5,000 coins, 10×12 cost 25,000 coins, 12×13 cafe cost 125,000 coins, but 13×15 cost 400,000 coins. It is really a big amount of money, if you don’t have available balance just give up because that the maximum customers you can served in cafe world are only 18 people per minute, 12×13 expansion is enough. Unless cafe world increases more stoves and counters in the future that would make us happy to spend 400K.

Of course, we can also get some benefits from 13X15 expansion. We do have more place to design our cafe and.. ready for next expansion

“Expired Gift” Problem

Have you ever met “Expired Gift” problem? In cafe world expired gift means that gifts you have been storing in your gift box that are more than 30 days old is expired. But even if we only accepted gifts in one day there was still a message coming up that they are older than 30 days and expired.

Is it a bug? Here is a response from zynga tech support about this “expired gift” problem:

We are in the process of changing our gift process to work with the changes on Facebook.
You may see there are some changes to limits, and uncollected gifts will now expire after 30 days.

Make sure to accept your gifts regularly from the Requests section on Facebook.

If you have received a message stating a gift was over 30 days old incorrectly, please send us the name of the gift which gave you the message.

Cafe World “Connection Error”

We always encountered some problem on facebook games, “out of sync” in farmville, “connection error” in cafe world. Farmville tech support can fix the problem soon but regarding this game – Cafe World, NO! The error is still there for a long time. Every time when the game finished loading, it gives “connection error“. And now the worst thing is we are in the game, but it still shows “connection error” after you are in about 5 secs.

We tried to not click the “refresh” button, we can still open cookbook, funtion and sell items. But everything will come back as you start game next time. Tried Google, IE and Firefox, all get the same message: “connection error“. It is weird that another cafe world account works well under the same computer, browser and IP.

Can Zynga Customer Support solve your “connect error”?

They sucks. We sent about 10 tickets to them and get the same reply:

Real Bacon Cheeseburger Recipe

We know there are only 3 simple steps when preparing Bacon Cheeseburger.

Slice tomatoes, dice bacon and shape patties. What is a real Bacon Cheeseburger recipe? Here is a recipe from Chow.com:

Ingredients:

a frying pan
a knife
a spatula
two slices of bacon
4 ounces of lean ground beef
salt and pepper
toppings and condiments of your choice (e.g., onion, lettuce, tomato, pickle, mustard, mayo, ketchup)
one hamburger bun
two slices of your favorite cheese

Steps:

Heat the frying pan over medium heat on the stovetop. Add the bacon to the pan.
Form the ground beef into a 1/2-inch-thick patty. Don’t knead it too much, or the meat will toughen up. Season both sides with salt and pepper, and press the seasonings in with your hands.
Spread the condiments on the bun (you can toast the bun first if you want), and slice the burger toppings.
Cook the bacon until it’s crispy and golden, about four minutes; flip and cook a few minutes more on the other side. Remove the bacon from the pan.
Keep the pan over medium heat and place the hamburger patty in the hot bacon grease. Don’t press the burger down, or you may cause it to lose juice. Cook undisturbed for about four minutes on each side for medium.
A minute or two before you’re finished cooking the second side, lay two slices of cheese on top of the burger to melt.
Place the burger on the bun, top with bacon and other fixin’s, and serve.

There is a tiny tips on how to get unlimited XP if you have a big amount of coins. Click your stove. Then choose “Home Pot Roast”, it cost you 1800 coins. In cafe world, we always need to do 3 steps to prepare the meal, CP is also gained in these steps. The Home Pot Roast gives you 20 XP per preparation step. Peel potatoes +20CP, mince garlic +20CP, cut beef +20CP, total 60 CP you can gain. Delete the Pot Roast off the stove..and repeat the process. That’s all.

This is a wasteful and time consuming way to gain XP, but we must love it. You just have to make sure you have enough coins to do so and use it wisely, not excessively. Do not go for other dishes, home pot roast is the best choice at this moment!

Cafe World Level Information

You can level up by cooking and visiting your neighbors.

You get experience for prepping a dish. Most dishes take two-three clicks to prep, which means you get experience for each click.
You get experience for serving a dish. Each dish has a different hidden amount. Bacon Cheeseburgers for example give 3 exp when you serve them, while Super Chunk Fruit Salad gives 10 exp when served. The general rule is the longer it takes to cook, the more experience you will get when served.
You get 1 exp when cleaning your stove after serving something. No matter what you cooked, it’s 1 exp.
You get 5 exp when visiting neighbor’s cafe’s and eating their specialty dish. After visiting 20 neighbors in one day, the number is lowered to 1 exp per neighbor.

As you level up, you will obtain stoves, counters staff and new dishes to cook. Stoves and dishes are probably your main concern when leveling up. You can never have too many stoves.

Change Your Cafe Name In Cafe World

Do you like the default cafe name with your name, Adam’s cafe, Jonny’s Cafe, etc. If you don’t like and want to change your cafe name just follow the simple steps below.

Click on your cafe name in the upper right-hand corner of the game screen.

Enter a new name for your cafe, then press accept. That is all.
